Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' to be released on July 1, audio to be out in June first week

The makers of "Kabali" seem to have finalised the date for the audio and movie release. The audio launch of Rajinikanth's much-hyped "Kabali" will take place in the first week of June and the movie will be out on July 1.

"#Kabali (Telugu) audio launch in the first week of June. Movie is set for July 1st release," journalist Jalapathy Gudelli announced the news on Twitter.

The audio of "Kabali" is expected to be launched in a grand event. In recent years, the audio of Rajinikanth's films were released in lavish functions. Hence, one can expect a similar kind of arrangement for the music launch of his latest film as well.

Musician Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for "Kabali." The audience have got a glimpse of his work in the film's teaser, which was released on May 1. So, expectations are high from the album.

Two-film-old Pa Ranjith has written and directed "Kabali," which has been produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu. Rajinikanth plays an ageing don, who reportedly runs a school for the children affected by gang wars.
It is loosely based on the life of a gangster based in Mylapore in Chennai. Radhika Apte plays Rajinikanth's wife and Dhansika, their daughter in "Kabali." Kishore, Nassar, Dinesh Ravi, John Vijay and others are part of the supporting cast.

Director Pa Ranjith reportedly has two projects in his kitty. After "Kabali," he will be directing one project each with Suriya and Karthi. Both the films will be bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja.
